Alabama has a new congressional map this year after a federal court redrew the lines to give the state an additional majority minority district. This new district is Alabama’s Second District, which includes Montgomery and extends into the Black Belt down to Mobile. The race to fill this seat is crowded on both sides – eight Republicans and 11 Democrats are on the ballot. Polls close at 8 p.m. Eastern.
